Additionally, the company develops and teaches clinical educational programs that enable healthcare organizations to attract, retain and motivate allied health professionals involved in delivering cardiovascular services. These accredited continuing education seminars and training programs can be delivered online or onsite at client facilities. Founded in 1997, Healthworks is a Pennsylvania-based S corporation that provides high-caliber, well-educated and experienced technical support personnel to the healthcare industry to address employee and workforce shortages. The professionals employed by Healthworks are primarily nurses and technologists working in cardiac imaging and diagnostic cardiovascular settings, including cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology labs, performing such exams as cardiac catheterizations and stress tests. Additional staff professionals include imaging and radiologic specialists that work in diagnostic and interventional radiology settings, as well as ultrasound/sonography roles.
For over 23 years, Healthworks has been providing these, and other related services, in a cost-effective manner that consistently meets the needs of the healthcare industry and the patients this sector serves.
Healthworks, Inc. maintains its corporate office located in at 515 Old Swede Road, in Douglassville (Amity Township), PA. The company’s leadership team includes individuals with more than 60 years of combined cardiac catheterization lab supervisory and management experience, and has considerable expertise in sales, marketing and finance.
