An established and growing vascular surgery practice in San Diego is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Cardiothoracic or Vascular Surgeon to join our collaborative team. This position offers a unique opportunity to practice in a highly efficient outpatient-focused environment with an exceptional work-life balance and a predictable weekday schedule.
The role is centered on dialysis access management, elective vascular procedures, and minimally invasive vascular interventions. Surgeons will work closely with an experienced multidisciplinary team dedicated to delivering high-quality patient care in a supportive and collegial setting.
Position Highlights
Monday–Friday schedule
No trauma call
No hospital emergency call
Minimal weekend responsibilities
Typical workday completed before 5 PM
Outpatient-focused practice environment
Collaborative and supportive surgical team

Clinical Responsibilities
The surgeon will provide expert surgical and procedural care for patients with vascular and dialysis access conditions. Responsibilities include:
Dialysis access creation and maintenance procedures
Fistulograms
Angioplasty
Thrombectomy procedures
AV fistula and graft interventions
Elective vascular surgery procedures
Peripheral arterial disease management
Opportunity to perform vein ablations and venous procedures if desired
Qualifications
MD or DO degree
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiothoracic Surgery, Vascular Surgery, or General Surgery with dialysis access experience
Eligible for unrestricted California medical licensure
Strong communication and teamwork skills
